Crowns

Dental Crowns

A crown may be needed where a filling would be insufficient. Crowns may be used to protect a weak tooth from breaking, to restore a broken tooth, or to cover and support a deteriorated tooth that has a large existing filling. As part of our dental services, we can place a crown, or “cap”, over a damaged or misshaped tooth to restore your smile.

Build Up & Crown

In some cases, a buildup may be required prior to setting a crown on a damaged or decayed tooth. We shape the tooth so it can accept the crown securely, creating a strong foundation by embedding a durable filling material that will support the permanent crown.
